VIDEO: Ozarks on the Fly, VOL. 4

The first time we met, we sat down and started talking about fishing. I’m talking about fishing as a hobby and he just spewed obsession. I saw a look in his eyes that I knew was exactly what was going on with my face when I would jump out of an airplane. I knew that if fishing could do this for him, if being on the water or just talking to somebody about fishing can make the hair on his arm stand up... It’s something I need to be a part of.

When you see Netflix cut a check to Andrew McNeese and the Bluffline Media team for a feature-length documentary, don’t be surprised.

The compelling story aside, this is one of the most visually pleasing fly fishing videos I’ve seen. The B-roll selection is wonderful and the music matches up perfectly. Bluffline has a knack for capturing all the moments that draw an audience in and make us feel like we’re on the water with the guys.

TIGHTLINE THERAPY: Finding Calm in the Current is the 4th installment of the popular “Ozarks on the Fly” series. Vol. 4 tells the story of two unlikely fishing buddies and what the sport means to them. Grady Powell, an ex-Special Forces TV star with an overwhelming affinity for adrenaline and Jon Link, filmmaker & euro nymphing extraordinaire.

There also may or may not be a giant brown trout. You’ll just have to watch the video and find out!
